Before Jeebus... before The Hanslick Rebellion... way back in the pre-grunge 90's, Jed Davis and singer Domenic Maltempi teamed up to create bizarre and hilarious psychedelic metal!

Now, Zetacarnosa reunites the duo with longtime partners Mike Keaney, Alex Dubovoy, and Mike Kearns - plus almost every other former member of Skyscape, with cameos by Sean Gould, Joe Aversano, Rob Hill, Kevin Faber, Steve Theater and Count Neglia! And it's all wrapped in a gorgeous cover drawn by comics legend Mike Allred (MADMAN)!

Skyscape navigates sonic terrain that is almost indescribable - from techno-thrash to upbeat dirges (!) - as the band brings together its past and present through an intricate weaving of archival material with the newly-cut tracks. There are guitars recorded on early-90's boomboxes, snippets from live radio performances, voicemails... even a vocal take culled completely from a videotaped improvisation.

Maltempi's lyrics are funnier and more fascinating than ever, and still mesh perfectly with Davis's hooky chord progressions. On Zetacarnosa, Skyscape doesn't so much hop or mix genres as ignore the concept of genre entirely. But what else would you expect from the band that was alternative before alternative?
