From piano-punk to metal-Americana, Brooklyn's crafty Davis wraps bubblegum hooks around keenly incisive lyrics for an experience that is rich, resonant, bittersweet... and oddly comforting. In Davis's soundworld, genre is no object, laughter and tears share a pillow, and lo-fi found sounds nestle neatly into audiophile production numbers.

Despite the stellar supporting cast (which also includes Brian Dewan, Stevie Blacke, Mike Keaney, and Joe Abbatantuono, and engineers Dave Fridmann, Tony Doogan and Tchad Blake), I AM JED DAVIS! could only come from the mind of one man. This is recording the Jed Davis way - by any means necessary!
